About our Church & Pastor

Pastor Josh Nicholson

Josh Nicholson has been the pastor of West River Road Baptist Church since 2015. He has a heart for ministry and love for the Lord. In addition to preaching on Sundays and leading the Wednesday evening Bible study, he is active in youth and children's programs throughout the year. His wife Abby is a skilled musician playing the piano and organ (as well as brass & woodwind instruments) and directing the choir and annual Christmas program. They have been blessed with three children: Levi, Camille, and Evelyn.
West River Road Baptist Church exists for the worship of God, discipling of believers,
and furtherance of the gospel in the Twin Cities and around the world.
We believe the Bible is the sole authority for faith and practice and sufficient for life and godliness.

We believe that salvation is only by the grace of God through faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 
We prayerfully and financially support missionaries in the United States and across the globe.

We endeavor to honor and glorify God in all that we say and do.
